MOLECULAR GENETICS OF HEARING AND HEARING LOSS

Our research focuses on uncovering how inner ear hair cells convert sound-induced mechanical forces into electrical signals that enable hearing.

In parallel, we are investigating the molecular causes of hearing loss and developing therapeutic strategies to prevent it or restore auditory function.
